AryaOS product mark

Platform · The Arya ecosystem

One OS. One browser-based interface. One mesh.

AryaOS unifies air, sea, and signals domain awareness on a common hardware platform — delivered to any TAK end-user device or standard web browser, standalone or across the network.

BLUF

A family of receivers, one operating system.

AryaOS is the modern situational-awareness platform underneath AryaAir, AryaSea, and DragonEgg — a family of portable, rugged receivers built on one operating system.

AryaOS's modular, containerized architecture allows for flexibility and scalability. Core services are containerized and communicate via gRPC APIs, enabling rapid updates, ease of development, and the ability to customize the OS for specific mission requirements.

System services

What runs on every AryaOS device.

  • Network Management — Wi-Fi, Ethernet, cellular, and satellite interfaces and configuration
  • Data Acquisition — sensor and hardware interfacing for AIS, ADS-B, GNSS, and more
  • Situational Awareness — processes and fuses data for display and dissemination to connected clients
  • Security — access control, encryption, and secure communication protocols
  • Configuration Management — device and system settings, including OTA updates

Containerized modules

Independent services, developed and deployed separately.

  • AIS Decoder — processes Automatic Identification System data
  • ADS-B Decoder — processes Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast data
  • GNSS Receiver — manages GPS and other satellite navigation data
  • Mesh Networking (CharonTAK) — peer-to-peer communication and data sharing
  • TAK Gateway — seamless integration with TAK platforms
  • Web UI Server — hosts the browser-based user interface
  • On-Device Mapping — serves maps and geospatial data locally

Development kit

Build custom applications on AryaOS.

  • APIs — well-documented gRPC and REST APIs for interacting with system services
  • Libraries — pre-built libraries for data parsing, networking, and UI development
  • Containerization tools — package custom applications into containers compatible with AryaOS
  • Documentation — comprehensive guides and examples for developers

Security

Defense-grade controls by default.

  • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) — granular control over user permissions
  • Secure Boot — ensures system integrity from power-on
  • Encrypted Communications — protects data in transit using industry-standard encryption
  • Regular Security Audits — ongoing vulnerability assessments and updates

Integration

Fits into the systems already in place.

  • TAK Platforms — full compatibility with ATAK, iTAK, WinTAK, and TAK Server
  • Third-Party Software — integration via APIs and standardized data formats
  • Cloud Services — secure connectivity to cloud-based data storage and analysis platforms

The Arya family

AryaAir · AryaSea · DragonEgg

Every receiver in the family shares the same OS, browser-based interface, mesh, and hardware platform — only the sensor front-end changes.

  • AryaAir — manned & unmanned aircraft: ADS-B, UAT & Remote ID
  • AryaSea — vessel tracking & maritime domain awareness: AIS
  • DragonEgg — wideband SDR survey, monitoring & direction finding
