Application privacy policy

Privacy and data handling.

The retained privacy policy for Sensors & Signals applications and TAK integrations. Last updated January 1, 2024.

Scope

Application data stays on the networks you choose.

Sensors & Signals applications do not intentionally collect or transmit personal or usage data to Sensors & Signals, except when a participant chooses to send application information with a bug report or feature request.

When an application requests location permission, that information is used to provide the location functions selected by the user, including broadcasting Cursor on Target messages to user-selected servers or networks. Sensors & Signals does not separately receive or retain that location data.

Control and transfer

The operator selects the destination.

Application data is processed and transmitted only to networks and servers the operator configures. Device permissions can be enabled or disabled in the device settings.

No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure. Operators remain responsible for the systems, networks, and services they select.

Other sites and updates

External services keep their own policies.

Links may lead to third-party services that Sensors & Signals does not operate. Review those services’ privacy terms before use.

This policy may be updated by posting a revised version on this page. Questions may be sent to info@snstac.com.
